French women are beautiful people who believe in embracing yourself and your peculiarities. French women are content with their features and would rather accentuate them than go for plastic surgery.
They are not against makeup but against anything that makes them look like someone else.
French actress Mona Walravens spoke to this point in a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar.. "that French women accept imperfections and manage to emphasize the unique aspect of beauty instead of trying to modify and change it and move towards a standard of beauty, like having full lips and small nose" [StyleCaster].
Simply put French women are comfortable in their own skin!! for what is beauty if you don't appreciate what nature has given you?
The next French Beauty secret is their diet. Their diet consists of fresh vegetables and fruits which is enriched with antioxidants. They prefer less meat and no bad fat, teaching us that beauty is more internal than external!
Oh my goodness, French women love perfume. They would never step out without perfume because perfume is a key part of their identity. Some even perfume their body before putting on a moisturizer in order to have a lovely signature fragrance.
Bold red lip is an accessory on it own. The French accentuate their lips more than any part of their bodies. They use little foundation and concealer to have light makeup base with red lipstick as the major accessory.
French women will rather have a great skincare routines like investing in good moisturizers, body oil and good cleansers than heavy makeup products. Great skincare routine like facial massage and exfoliation rejuvenates and nourishes skin whiles makeup tends to hide imperfect skin.
Knowing these beauty secrets, I guess I'll be going French for a longgg time!!!
